All phone calls and customer contact are handled by the veterans at L&F. We handle all customer interactions with strict professionalism and know exactly what our clients and lien holder would want us to say in any and all scenarios presented in the midst of a repossession.
UPON CASE ACCEPTANCE:
We want our clients to know just how we work our accounts. Upon case acceptance, we assign multiple Lost and Found Employees and Field Agents to the same account, working together to secure the repossession. Your account is guaranteed to be UPDATED at least 3-10 times within the first 24 hours and every 72 hours thereafter. This is only made possible by our dedicated and passionate repossession team who work 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to meet high standards.
3 DAYS POST-ACCEPTANCE:
If the vehicle has not been located within 72 hours, it is time to really buckle down on our investigation. We are motivated and hungry to locate our collateral. If allowed by our Client, we then start plotting the best approach to locating and identifying our perpetrator using the following techniques:
- Break down the immediate skip-tracing reports run by both the field agents and office assistants and dissect them for new leads and addresses to focus on
- Compare relatives, address history, phone numbers, and specific friendships and relationships with our customers.
- Keen in on the personality, reputation, and background history of the debtor. Based on public record searches and skip tracing databases we are able to determine if the debtor is a “Drifter” or “Shifter” If they are “Violent” or “Civil”, “Cooperative” or “Uncooperative” and so on. Most debtors tend to have similar traits and responses to being in a tough spot, which leads to similar reactions and ideas. Without a doubt, this helps us approach and retrieve repossessions for our clients more so than others.
7 DAYS POST-ACCEPTANCE:
If we have unsuccessfully located the unit after the first 7 days, our first and only priority then is to attempt contact. We prefer to do this by door knocking and face-to-face contact but only if approved by the client and/or lien holder. This is the game-changing phase for us. This is where we stand out and shine to our clients!
In this same phase, our agents are to call the phone number provided by our client and attempt contact with our debtor in any way possible. We often find that by offering the debtor an ultimatum we are able to repossess the unit in a civil and proper manner. When trusted with an account long enough, we can and will locate and retrieve the collateral. At the very least, we can locate the vehicle in a private impound or elsewhere in situations where it’s unattainable.
